When not writing in his spiral notebooks, Jason M. Burns can be found outside getting his tattoo-covered arms dirty where
he spends the warmer months hybridizing daylilies and tending to his koi pond. Type A even when typing, the former public
relations professional made the leap into the comic book industry in 2004 after being invited to write a short story for
Dead@17: Rough Cut, Volume 1. Since that time he has written and created a number of critically acclaimed and commercially
successful comic book series and graphic novels, including Jericho: Season 3, which appeared on the New York Times Best
Sellers list. He has worked as Editor-in-Chief for Ape Entertainment where he spearheaded book lines for Sesame Street and
the DreamWorks Animation stable of titles, and as Chief Creative Officer for Neymar Jr. Comics, the publishing company of
international soccer star Neymar Jr. There his writing was translated into six languages and reached millions of people
worldwide. In addition to comic books, Burns also works in Hollywood and produces podcasts, most notably What About,
where he has chatted with guests such as Rob Lowe and Eric Dane.
Burns currently lives in Massachusetts with his wife, two children, and a trio of rescue dogs with intentionally silly names,
Bad Bad Leroy Brown, Big Jim, and Maisy Gray.

“With one mere prose novel, Jason Burns has completely outclassed the entire catalog of work from R.L. Stein. Heck, Dean Koontz too.”
